Nathan Benenfeld left New York City and his five brothers to start a new life with his new family in Miami, Florida. He did what he knew best, he built luggage like his brothers in NY. By the 1960’s Bagmaster Mfg. had become the nations second largest manufacturer for wig boxes. With the advent of synthetic hair, his always innovative mind, set to redirecting our focus. Thusly, for numerous years to follow, Bagmaster produced everything form Drill Bit Holders to Ring Binders, and still produces Customized Totes for cruise lines who call South Florida home.
Due to our close proximity to the Miami International Airport and luggage being our discipline, we courted and won contracts for luggage repair with such Airlines as Pan Am, Eastern, and American. We started stocking “national brand” luggage for replacement of bags beyond repair, and our retail division was born. With the advent of the Internet and e-commerce our innovative heritage motivated us to offer our extensive selection of goods, and time perfected customer service, to consumers around the world.
